FIREFIGHTERS cleared smoke from a house after a fire in the bathroom.

Crews were called to the house, in Maldon Road, Colchester at around 9pm on Friday Novemeber 27.

The bathroom was 20 percent smoke logged so crews wore breathing apparatus to enter.

A spokesperson for Essex Fire Service said: "The smoke was mostly contained to the bathroom and there was minimal damage."
