A CRISP company has teamed up with a brewery to develop new beer flavoured crisps.
Fairfields Farm Crisps, based in Wormingford, Colchester, is working with Adnams Brewery to create the new flavour.
Adnams Ghost Ship crisps, based on the brewery’s pale ale, are now on sale nationwide.
Robert Strathern, founder of Fairfields Farm Crisps, said: “We're renowned for working with like-minded producers in East Anglia, so it has been fantastic to collaborate with such a well-known brand as Adnams to create something new and exciting for the snack market.
“These crisps have a wonderful flavour, the ale works beautifully with our delicious potatoes and we know they'll be popular with our retail customers, but also with pubs and bars who like to offer their customers something unique.”
