A VAN is causing delays on Station Road in Manningtree after stopping in the road at a railway bridge.
The van is thought to have stopped due to being unable to pass under a height restricted bridge.
The road was blocked at 3.20pm on Friday October 2.
There are also minor delays to trains running through Manningtree as Abelio Greater Anglia send an engineer to check for damage.
An Abelio Greater Anglia spokesperson said: "There are some minor delays after a report to say the bridge had been struck by a vehicle.
"Trains are moving slowly as we send an engineer to see if there is any damage."
An Essex Police spokesperson said that the van had not actually hit the bridge, but was blocking the road while the driver "sorted himself out."
