The future of one of Maldon's hidden treasures has come under threat unless an agreement can be reached with the district council.
Maldon District Museum, situated within the old Park Keeper's Lodge in Promenade Park, could lose its vital Arts Council accreditation because the council building it uses for some of its storage and office space will be bulldozed.
Various discussions have taken place between the two organisations throughout the year but an agreement is yet to be reached.
