SHADOW home secretary Yvette Cooper has tried to win some Colchester votes with 10 days left of the campaign.
A full hall of voters gathered at the Colchester Arts Centre to hear Ms Cooper pledge her reforms and answer public questions.
She was keen to speak about harsh cuts to public services and police, and wanted to stress the importance of creating a strong alternative.
This was her second visit to Colchester, and she was eager to win back Conservative and UKIP supporters in the area.
Jeremy Corbyn will also be visitng Colchester this afternoon to win votes. He will be at the University of Essex from 4.30pm.
