Can you volunteer as publicity officer the Cat's Protection in Colne Valley?
The Colne Valley Branch of Cat’s Protection desperately needs a new volunteer publicity officer.
The branch, which is run entirely by volunteers, needs someone who can spare a few hours a week to write press releases and liaise with local media, and co-ordinate all other publicity activities of the branch, such as leaflets, flyers, posters, radio and TV publicity etc.
You do not need to have PR or media experience as the charity can provide support and training, but you do need to be enthusiastic and have a love of cats.
The charity aims to stop cruelty to cats by educating people, and also finds new homes for unwanted and abandoned cats.
