A village is looking forward to getting involved with the recording of a new film.
Isobel Barnes, of Twinstead, and seven other students studying film making at the Central Film School in London, are starting to record their graduation film.
Several of the scenes for the film, titled Melvyn, are going to be shot in Twinstead, with members of the village getting cameo roles.
Isobel, 21, who is producing the film, said: “The film was written by our director James Albarn.
“It is based on his experiences when he was learning to drive and centres on the rivalry of different instructors as they fight to become head of the driving instructors guild.
“It’s a comedy.
“When I read the script, I just thought that Twinstead would be the perfect location.
“Twinstead is quite small and my parents know a lot of people so they just asked them about being in it.
“They are all really keen.”
Filming will take place from Monday to Thursday and the film will be finished by August in time for the student’s graduation.
