A WALL has been given a makeover by offenders under the Community Payback scheme.
The offenders helped pay their debt to society by working on a community facility in Windsor Close, Colchester.
They repainted a goal on the wall, along, with Colchester United logo to brighten up the area.
Labour borough councillor Dave Harris said: “Five years ago, I helped paint a Colchester United wall on some council garages. To this day, no further graffiti has appeared.”
