AN Edinburgh artist has won the prestigious Alastair Salvesen Art Scholarship, it was announced yesterday. Lorna McIntosh, 28, beat off fierce competition for the (pounds) 10,000 award which will fund her travels to eastern European museums to draw and paint some of their contents. Her work will later be exhibited by the Royal Scottish Academy.
