A schoolboy is leading the charity fundraising at his school.

Pupils at St Margaret’s Preparatory School, in Gosfield, voted to raise money for Save the Children on their annual charity day.

After the news of Cyclone Pam in Vanuatu, it was decided the money should go towards the charity’s Emergency Fund to help with the aftermath of the cyclone.

On Wednesday all years undertook a Wacky Walk, where they put on an extra layer of clothing after each lap of the school field they completed.

As well as this, pupil Elliott Wade, ten, completed a 15 mile cycle ride to raise money for the charity.
