Bakers inspired by a BBC One cookery show competed in the Great Notley Bake Off.
The event took place as part of a day to raise money for the Only Cowards Carry anti-knives charity at the Oaklands Inn in Great Notley.
Organiser Lucy Norwood, 19, said: “I just thought it would be fun for everyone to show off what they can bake.
“A lot of people baked cakes and bread and bought it along and we’ve been going along judging it.”
Among the delicious treats on offer was a rainbow sponge cake, a Mars Bar cheesecake, a pizza cake and plenty of breads, cupcakes and cookies.
