X FACTOR singer Stevi Ritchie has survived another week of the top TV talent show.

The Colchester crooner sang his version of Rick Astley's Never Going to Give You Up in the 1980s themed week.

He got mixed reviews from the judges but won Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's heart as she said: "He is one of the nicest guys in this competition; I love him."

As the artists waited nervously to hear their fate, Stevi was voted through by the public leaving Stereo Kicks and Chloe Jasmin to fight it out in the sing off.

The judges saved Stereo Kicks for their rendition of I'll Stand by You and Chloe Jasmin left the show along with Stephanie Nala who received the lowest number of votes.

Stevi is in the over-25s category and was not chosen by mentor Simon Cowell to be in his top three.

However, he made it through to the live shows after being chosen as the wild card contestant.
