HUNGRY pupils were treated to a taste of Italy with help from a top chef.
The Early Years class at Two Village Primary School in Ramsey were visited by The Pier Hotel’s head chef John Goff, who helped them whip up a selection of pizzas.
Parent Charlotte Thurlow and teacher Vanessa Lindsay were on hand to help the students roll out the dough and add tomato sauce to the base before choosing individual toppings including mushrooms, ham and peppers.
After they were cooked, each pupil took them home to enjoy.
Ms Lindsay said: “Part of the aim was to encourage children to try different foods while promoting healthy eating.
“It was great to see a variety of different topping everyone was prepared to try and I hope we can collaborate with the Pier Hotel again soon.”
