POLICE have said a car cruising rally planned in Clacton at the weekend will not go ahead amid fears of anti-social behaviour.
A modified car show has been organised by car fanatics at the Brook Retail Park on Saturday evening and advertised online.
Officers said they would clamp down on boy racers after concerns hundreds of souped up cars will attend the rally causing disruption for nearby residents.
A police spokesman said: “Essex Police would like to advise anyone planning on attending this event that it will not be going ahead."
