Motorist suffers broken arm in crash

A DRIVER suffered a suspected broken arm after his car hit a lamp post in Little Clacton last night.

The victim - a 32-year-old Frinton man - was on Progress Way when he lost control of his Ford Sierra at 8.45pm.

He was taken to Colchester General for treatment.

Police said no other vehicles were involved in the crash. Firefighters from Clacton cleared up a fuel spill at the scene.
