Man faces child porn charges

A MAN has appeared in court charged with making and possessing child pornography.

Gary Thurbon, of Morris Avenue, Jaywick, denied four counts of making and one count of possessing indecent photographs of children when he appeared at Chelmsford Crown Court on Monday.

The court heard the charges all relate to images which were found on Thurbon's computer and date back to October 20, 2008.

Thurbon, 47, claims the photographs were put there by someone else.

He was bailed unconditionally to stand trial in April.
