A COASTAL charity is hiring three new staff to work on a community project in Jaywick.
CoastNet is looking for three people to launch the Reaching Jaywick project, expected to launch in April.
It won £380,000 in grant money from The Big Lottery Fund to run a three-and-a-half year scheme in the resort, focusing on community activities.
About half the money will be spent on staffing, including a £25,000 project manager, a project officer on about £19,000 and a part-time administrator, earning £17,000 pro rata.
Alex Midlen, who is leading the project, said: “I think we have got the opportunity to get some really good staff in.”
