CROOKS netted fishing rods, power tools and a petrol strimmer worth almost £1,250 after breaking into a shed in Jaywick.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a white man with short brown hair was seen driving away from Marlowe Road in a light green hatchback.

In a separate incident on Monday night, a 40-inch Sony LCD TV worth £400 was taken from a caravan at St Osyth Beach.
