A TOWN centre manager will be replaced after the current post holder quit, said council bosses.
Joanne Rogers left the position of Clacton town Centre manager last month, which she had from June 2007.
Nigel Brown, Tending Council's communications manager, said the council had managed to renew the funding for the position for another two years, and they would shortly be advertising it.
He said Miss Rogers made the decision to leave after getting a new job as a town centre manager for three market towns in Suffolk.
He said: “Joanne did a good job in Clacton during the time she was here and her initiatives were very much appreciated by the traders in the town. The Council wishes her well in her new role.”

Ms Rogers also needed a Council which was willing to support some of her ideas. Sadly this council cannot see beyond more houses, supermarkets, hotels and charity shops
