THE pressing event for this week is the quiz night to be held tonight in the Public Hall. The question masters will be Fred Pepper and Mike while King will be on the scoreboard again.
The questions will include - by request; tastings and odour guessing as well as a few riddles and a jigsaw photographic puzzle based on the local area. All of this in addition to the traditional questions from Fred who will include some questions on the musical shows that have given so much pleasure

MRS Phillips welcomed members and friends to the last meeting. All present enjoyed the music presented by our good friend Paddy.
We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery to Ivy.
Our next meeting is on May 22, 2-4pm. This will be our summer fayre and we hope all members will be present to support our committee and club.
Mens' Club.
THE five day holiday to Pakefield Nr Lowestoft organised by Roy Brabbins with 48 members and friends attending was voted a great success and enjoyed by all.
Members are reminded that the next club meeting at the Public Hall is on May 13 is the first of the summer monthly meetings. New members are welcomed, for more information call Terry on 01255 813997 or Bob on 814041.
Community Association.
DUE to unforeseen circumstances the Agm will now be held on June 10, 2pm, at Holland Public Hall.
The election of officers and the nomination of officers will take place at this meeting. If you are interested in joining the committee please contact Mrs Read via the hall's caretaker.
Holland Haven W.I.
PRESIDENT Mrs Lamdin welcomed members to the May meeting. The business part of the meeting was the discussion and voting on the WI's resolutions. After this we had a quiz and a raffle.
Lilian Sweet has sent more boxes out to the troops, this will be an ongoing project.
Events planned for the near future include a trip to the botanical gardens in Cambridge on June 9, a ploughmans lunch on June 27 and the annual garden party on July 10.
