MEMBERS were welcomed to the meeting by Yvonne, who has been away for a few weeks. After tea and cakes members played Hoy.

AT the February meeting Rev Lovell from Tollesbury showed us slides on the history of British pub signs.
The five pence and one pence pieces that we have collected throughout the year amounted to £450 which will go towards the restoration of All Saints Church.
At the meeting on March 13 there will be a quiz.

CHRISTINE, Bridget and Bridget came and told members at the February meeting about the history of the Clacton Amateur Dramatic Society, which has been going since 1926. They brought along some beautiful costumes to show us from some of the productions On February 12 members enjoyed a lovely lunch followed by a talk by George Mills on his journeys in the Ukraine, taking good to children suffering from the nuclear fall-out.
This week members are taking a trip to Denman
