Gardening Club.
THREE new members and three visitors were welcomed by chairman Bob Stables to the well attended April meeting. He thanked all members who helped and supported the recent plant sale, which was a great success.
The speaker for the evening gave a talk on beekeeping, accompanied by slides. This months competition - for a tulip - was won by Alice Kerridge, who received a gardening voucher and a trophy.
Paul who arranges our outing announced that forthcoming outings are now almost fully booked, and the secretary reminded members that the next meeting would be the fish and chip supper when we will welcome the new club president.
