Essex: New police recruits in training
Essex Police's new recruits are now more than halfway through their training at Essex Police College.
Trainee police officers have been kept busy with practical exercises in statement taking, first aid and searching people.
They have also studied law and faced a series of testing exams.
Next they will be learning defensive skills, how to search property and embarking on a community placement.
