Colchester United’s Tom Eastman has been signed up to kick off 25 year celebrations at Clacton Leisure centre on Sunday**29*** The former Clacton schoolboy will be turning up at around 1pm to meet fans and sign autographs.
Tom is a former pupil of Holland Park School and Clacton County High School.
Having gone through the youth ranks at Ipswich he was offered a first professional contract by Roy Keane before joining the U’s this season where he has made a big impact.
The day of silver celebrations starts at 10am-3pm and staff will also be handing out a limited number of vouchers for free swims and free days at Happy Valley.
There will be a host of free displays, classes, demonstrations, swimming, a landing by the Essex Air Ambulance and the first ever visit to Tendring of SX Urban Games.
