THREE people were arrested after a fight broke out near Walton seafront.
Police were called to a disturbance on The Parade and Crescent Road just before 11.15am on Saturday.
Witnesses said up to nine police cars were at the scene.
Two men suffered facial injuries but are not believed to have needed hospital treatment.
Police said a family dispute was thought to have sparked the incident.
A man and two women have been arrested on suspicion of affray.
