AN event is being staged which will delve into the history of Clacton’s Band Pavillion.
An illustrated talk will be led by respected historian Norman Jacobs.
In it, he will chart the pavilion’s journey from the open space bandstand, through to the impressive 3,000 seat theatre.
The tour will then go on to the amusement arcade, bowling alley, restaurant and the children’s fun park covering the decline, revival and regeneration of Clacton as a seaside resort.
The event is free and will take place on Monday at Armstrongs @ The Pavilion.
Doors open at 7.15pm.
