CLACTON MP Giles Watling has backed a campaign to help show young people they’re not alone when it comes to mental health issues.

Mr Watling is supporting the #HelloYellow initiative run by the YoungMinds charity.

Schools and offices across the country were encouraged to wear something yellow for World Mental Health Day last week.

Mr Watling said: “Talking about the issue of mental health is absolutely vital to overcome the stigma that there is often attached to this issue.

“Raising awareness of the support that is available for people who suffer with mental illness is absolutely crucial. Mental health not only affects adults, children and young people suffer too.”
