COLLEGE students celebrate of a number of successes on the morning of A-level results day.
Thursday. August 14 marks the day that hundreds of thousands of college students receive their results.
Clacton County High School are celebrating a 99% pass rate with 49% of the grades awarded at A*-B.
Emma Georgeson, 18, emotionally opened her A-level results with her mum as she's the of her family off to university.
She gained an A* in Drama, a C grade in Psychology and a B in English Literature.

She said: "I started revising about four months before everybody else did as my exams were based more on context.
"I've been waiting for this for a long time."
Emma, who has attended the school since year seven, will be heading off to Manchester Metropolitan in September to study psychology as she hopes to become a criminologist.
Other outstanding achievements include John Cullen-Kennedy, who received A* grades in RE, English Literature and a grade A in History will be heading to King's College London to study philosophy.
Principal, Neil Gallagher said: "Once again the results in the Sixth Form have surpassed all expectations.
"We have seen exceptional achievement across the board.
"The proportion of students achieving the highest grades is very impressive and nearly all of them have secured their first choice university place.
"This has been down to the incredible efforts made by the students and their teachers.
"My congratulations go out to all of the students and their families and I wish them every success in the next stage in their chosen path."
