A WOMAN reportedly chased with a firearm in Mendlesham Close, Clacton, has led to seven arrests.
Officers attended the address this afternoon at about 12.15am following concerns for her safety.
Five men, a woman and a boy were arrested.
They were a 30-year-old woman, a 19-year-old man, a 20-year-old man, and a 17-year-old boy, who were arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms and possession with intent to supply of drugs other than Class A.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms, possession with intent to supply of drugs, possession of firearms offences, abstracting electricity, and burglary.
Finally, a 19-year-old man was also arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms.
They were taken to Chelmsford and Clacton police stations where they remain in custody.
