A MAN has been rushed to hospital after suffering a suspected heart attack in Clacton.
Emergency services were called to reports that a man had collapsed at a property in Harrow Road at about 10.30am today.
Two ambulances and the Essex and Herts air ambulance went to the scene.
An ambulance service spokesman said: "We treated a man at the scene, believed to be in his 60s.
"He was unconscious and not breathing and confirmed to be in cardiac arrest.
"Fortunately medics were able to resuscitate the patient and after treating him at the scene took him to Colchester General Hospital by land ambulance."
The victim's condition is understood to be serious.
A 'co-responders' team from Frinton fire station was also sent to the scene.
