Emergency services at the scene in Skelmersdale Road, Clacton
A DRIVER was trapped in his car after it smashed into a telegraph pole last night.
The accident happened at the junction of Skelmersdale Road and Vista Road in Clacton at about 6.15pm yesterday.
Firefighters and paramedics managed to release a casualty from the wreckage by 7pm.
Police said the crash involved a white Fiesta Zetec and gold Vauxhall Corsa
A telegraph pole and a wall were also struck.
The male driver of the Vauxhall Corsa was taken to hospital with arm injuries.
