Emergency services are at the scene of accident in St John's Road
EMERGENCY services are at the scene of what is believed to be a serious crash between a car and a motorbike.
The smash happened in St John's Road, Clacton, between Pump Hill and Jaywick Lane at about 5.20pm today.
A witness said: "It looked like there was someone in the road - it didn't look very good.
"There was a large lorry blocking the road on the other side. It looked serious."
Essex Police said officers were being sent to the scene.
Paramedics and the fire brigade also attended.
A brigade spokesman said the accident involved a car and a motorbike.
No-one was trapped but it is not known at this stage if anyone is seriously injured.
