POP icon Michael Jackson's amazing live show is recreated on Clacton's West Cliff Theatre stage tomorrow night.

The undisputed King of Pop sold an astonishing 400 million records worldwide and enjoyed a record-breaking 13 number one singles in the United States during his solo career.

At the height of his fame he was the biggest superstar in the world.

Superfan-turned-impersonator Ben Bowman admits being obsessed with Jacko for as long as he can remember.

He said: "From as far into my childhood as I can remember, I have always been obsessed with Michael Jackson. Everything about the King of Pop mesmerized and enchanted me.

"Even my seventh birthday party was Michael Jackson themed I always loved to dance and began copying Michael's signature moves as I dreamt of being a performer just like him."

Aged just 17 Ben booked a function hall and promoted his own 'Michael Jackson Tribute Show'. He was amazed when it sold out.

He perfected the look, the moonwalk and the voice to become one of the most exciting Michael Jackson tribute acts to have toured UK theatres.

Ben is joined on stage by a live band and dancers who work their way through all the hits, such as Thriller, Beat It and Billie Jean.

The show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £20.50 (£15.50 under-16s and over-60s) from the box office on 01255 433344.
