A WOMAN who was wanted by police on suspicion of theft has been given a suspended prison sentence.
Jemma Rank, of London Road, Clacton, was arrested on Friday and later charged with stealing from Boots in Lion Walk, Colchester, in February.
When Rank, 36, appeared before Chelmsford Magistrates' Court on Saturday she admitted the charge and was given an eight-week jail term suspended for six months.
She was also ordered to pay £30 compensation.
