TRAINS running from Clacton and Walton have been cancelled after overhead electrical wires were damaged.
Services running between Clacton and London Liverpool Street were cancelled on this morning, along with trains between Walton and Thorpe.
Cancellations have been caused by damage to a piece of overhead wire equipment near Alresford, thought to be the result of high winds overnight.
Network Rail engineers are at the scene and working to fix the problem.
A limited rail replacement bus service is up and running between Clacton, Thorpe and Colchester to help passengers get past the problem.
