PETROLHEADS revved up for a fun-filled day at the sixth annual Brightlingsea classic car show.

The event, which was held at the Lower Park Road Recreation Ground, saw more than 400 cars take centre stage on Sunday.

There was also a fun day with a dog agility show, a family entertainer and live music held at the same time.

Crowds also got to browse various stalls, trade, food and drink stands.

Organiser John Fisher said: “It went really well and we had a record turnout.

“We had 440 cars in total. We had a little bit of rain towards the end, but everyone loved the day.

“Everyone loved the stalls and the band was great.”

Mr Fisher thanked everyone who attended and made donations.

All the money raised will go to the 4th Brightlingsea Scout Group.
