PLANS to demolish two houses to make way for a new 28-home estate off a busy road has been criticised by councillors.
Developer EMP Kirby has submitted a blueprint for the sprawling new housing area, which would be built behind Frinton Road. The plan includes bulldozing two existing homes to make room for an access road behind the roadside houses.
It is currently an outline planning application for up to 28 bungalows and chalets β which means the finer details are subject to change before a full application is submitted.
Frinton and Walton Town Council has already recommended refusal of the outline plan.
Delyth Miles said: βIt looks like a real overdevelopment and all of the houses look congested and crammed up against each other.β
