A GRIEVING husband whose wife died after a hit-and-run horror crash is calling for witnesses to come forward in his fight for justice.
Barbara Cyfrowicz, 54, suffered fatal injuries after being hit by a car on a zebra crossing in Kirby Cross on Boxing Day.
She died in hospital the following day.
A funeral service took place at Frinton’s Roman Catholic Church yesterday, three months after the tragedy.
The horse-drawn hearse carrying Mrs Cyfrowicz’s coffin stopped as a mark of respect at the crossing where she died, just yards from her home in Bemerton Gardens.
