Clacton man set for court date accused of racial attack outside town centre bar
A CLACTON man has been charged with affray and racially aggravated assault causing actual bodily harm.
James Martin, 22, of Marine Parade East, is accused of attacking and shouting racist abuse at a man outside V Bar in Colchester High Street on September 19 last year.
He enterted no plea when he appeared before Colchester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Martin was granted unconditional bail and is due to appear at Chelmsford Crown Court on May 26.
