RAIL chiefs are to be grilled over train services in Tendring.
Representatives from the Tendring Locality Board are set to meet Network Rail to discuss issues raised by residents and passengers.
The board met to discuss transport services across Tendring last week, but Network Rail failed to turn up.
Issues raised included access to trains for people with mobility problems at Thorpe and Great Bentley stations, investment in trains and the chaos at the Manningtree rail underpass.
Board chairman Kevin Bentley, Tendring Council leader Mick Page and chief executive Ian Davidson will now meet Network Rail to raise residents’ concerns.
Mr Bentley said: “We will be taking up a number of issues with them and we will not be bounced around.
“We will discuss what has been brought up by the public and will report back with the answers.”
