Council turns down plans for new homes at Little Clacton stables
PLANS to build two new houses in Little Clacton have been turned down.
The scheme was for two detached properties at Baytree Stables, in Harwich Road.
Outline planning permission was denied by Tendring Council after planning officers said the proposals were not environmentally sustainable and would extend the builtup area of the village.
They also said it would damage the appearance of surrounding countryside.
