A DANCE school has waltzed home with a huge haul of silverware from a national festival.
Clacton’s Peppermint Dance Centre took part in the 30th annual Freestyle Dance Festival at Camber Sands, East Sussex.
The youngsters romped home with 65 trophies after competing in disco, freestyle, street dance, rock ‘n’ roll and fun events.
Some of the budding dancers scooped first places despite being up against as many as 70 rivals.
Peppermint Dance Centre spokesman Sam Green said: “All the dancers were amazing and I could not be prouder of them. They really did deserve their achievements as they worked so hard towards this big event.”
