Sentencing in neglect case due in Chelmsford next month
A CARER is facing jail after he neglectedawoman he was supposed to be looking after.
A court heard Betty Lambard had not been seen by neighbours for days and they alerted the police.
Officers found her in a filthy condition when they went to her home on April 26.
Chelmsford Crown Court was told Mrs Lambard had since died. Carer Ian Martin, 51, of Lincoln Avenue, Jaywick, admitted wilful neglect.
The case was adjourned.
He was granted bail until he is sentenced next month.
