BIG-HEARTED winter wonderland owners invited a Clacton youngster to their festive attraction after reading about him in the Gazette.
Stanley Newman, two, has incurable muscular dystrophy. He was invited to Winter Wonderland at Marsh Farm, in South Woodham Ferrers, as the VIP guest of honour.
Dad Rob said: “It was a magical day for us all and a real treat for Stanley.”
The youngster also performed the switch-on of Clacton’s lights earlier this month.
His family have now organised their own festive fundraiser at the Halifax, in Station Road, Clacton, on Monday.
Visitors can meet Father Christmas in his grotto and take part in a raffle for the chance to win a home visit from Santa on Christmas Eve.
Halifax will double the cash raised and proceeds will go to SWAN UK, which supports people suffering from mystery medical conditions and helped Stanley before his diagnosis.
