A SPEED watch campaign has been launched in a bid to make drivers slow down.
Elmstead Parish Council has now launched Camerawatch.
Volunteers, who will be trained by Essex Police, will be asked to stand in problem areas with a speed camera on an on-demand basis.
If motorists are caught, they will be sent a warning letter. A second warning letter will be sent before details are passed on to the police.
To volunteer, call 01206 827139 or email elmsteadparish@gmail.com.
