AMAN who tripped and fell after a night out, breaking his arm in two places, has supported calls for residents to fund a Tendring street lights switch-on.
Colin Barrett, 65, was walking home after spending the evening with friends in Clacton on October 4 when the street was plunged into darkness as part of the money-saving midnight to 5am blackout.
He tripped over a kerb and fell to the ground, fracturing his shoulder and arm.
