WORK has started on a £3million purpose-built development in Clacton designed to help adults with learning and physical disabilities to live independently.
The Hazeldene Gardens development is being built in Bluehouse Avenue. The first turf was cut by Tendring Council chairman Val Guglielmi.
The complex has been designed by Inclusion Housing and Lifeways Community Care, and is being built by HB Villages.
Lifeways chief executive Paul Marriner said: “The facilities, opportunities and support on offer at Hazeldene Gardens will provide each tenant with the confidence and independence to choose how they live their lives.”
