RESIDENTS in Clacton can get their dogs microchipped free of charge next month.
Tendring Council’s dog wardens will be at Clacton Coasrtal Community Centre, in Pathfields Road, on October 20 from 9.30am to 2.30pm.
They have microchipped more than 1,500 dogs across Tendring in the past year, saving owners around £40.
All dogs must be chipped by 2016.
