SUPERMARKET giant Sainsbury’s bid to build a new store in Frinton’s Connaught Avenue has been given a huge thumbs-up by Gazette readers.
An exclusive poll reveals more than 90 per cent were in favour of the proposals – despite town councillors calling for the supermarket to tone down its orange shopfront to fit in with the famous leafy avenue.
