CLACTON skies will be lit up with spectacular aerial displays again next year, it has been confirmed.
A date has already been fixed for Clacton Air Show 2014 after the huge success of this year’s event, which exceeded budget projections in nearly all areas.
Council leader Peter Halliday said: “We put on a high quality flight programme which included the Vulcan and Red Arrows and a host of top entertainment on the ground.
“I can honestly say that I am extremely proud to say that Tendring Council put on the event which was appreciated by around 140,000 people over the two days.”
It has been confirmed the 2014 Clacton Air Show will take place on August 21 and 22.
